Description

When I went outside tonight there was a very bright half Moon directly overhead washing out a lot of the sky. So I was limited as where I could image and what I could image. I had several objects in mind but finally decided on M68 mainly because of where it was located and I felt the cluster would be less affected by the Moon. It's been a year since I've imaged this object and I've never really gotten an image of this object that I'm pleased with. I've always liked the cluster. It's

a fairly small cluster and it is loosely structured. In a large scope you can crank up the magnification a little and resolve a lot of stars in an eye piece. Anyway with all of that said

please enjoy my latest image of M68.
